• While our products work in deterring some cats from scratching, every cat is different and not all cats will respond the same way. We recommend that cats have an alternate scratching surface available to them as they need to scratch to shed the dead outer layer of their claws and to mark their territory. If they do not have an alternate scratching surface, then they’ll continue to scratch regardless of the tape or spray.
